Disney has not yet added VR to our training toolkit for Fall Protection. Vendors have added it to their Crane certification courses. All of our Fall Protection, Rope Access and Mobile Equipment Work Platform (formerly AWP) training is hands on/instructor led. Certainly properly designed VR could be used to augment this training but current OSHA and ANSI standards are mandating instructor presence. Previous OSHA "Letters of Interpretation" have limited video and remote instruction when certification is mandated.

@bobwhitfield @peterlegowski do you use Virtual Reality training with your employee teams?

If you do, can you share with us the core value your gaining from this type of tool?

If not, is it something you might have been considering to try with the progress of technology in our workplaces?
