I have had another question from a member about how to use the search feature. We have learned it is best to use AND, OR and NOT, and "text" so you can refine your search by combining or limiting terms. Here is a quick tip document: attached
Q. How do I do a search in the whole Intelex Community and Library areas?
A.
1. look on the blue menu bar above.
2. On the right hand side you will see a magnifying glass icon.
3. Click on the magnifying glass icon.
4. The search bar will now appear for you to do your search.
I have also attached images below for you to see.
You can use the search bar to do a wider search in the community!
Got this question to day; how do I approve someone in my company or group area?
Answer:
To approval/denial of member requests:
1. Go to you Company or Group page; click on "Admin"
2. In the "Admin" area you will see "(#) members pending approval" click on this text and it will take you into the approval/deny members area.
3. Beside the members name you will see "Edit" click on this text (please use this method as I have found it the easiest to add members)
4. In the "edit" screen look for a the "Status" pull down menu
5. In the Status pull down menu select "Active" to add a member or "Blocked" to deny member access.
In the Admin area you also have several other functions;
1. "Edit Group/Company" where you can update detail and contact information, and in companies add files for your resource area,
2. "Add members" where you can add a member from the community by typing in their name (no spaces) and select to add them to company or group and
3. "Manage Members" where you can mange memebrship status (Active/Block) and their role (Basic/Admin).
