Digital Marketing Trends in 2021

Michael Donnely

Nowadays, the key to success mostly depends on how fastly you can adapt to trends that are being created every day by society. From the time Internet was implemented in our daily life it becomes easy to get the information you need. The second decade of the 21st century gives us as many opportunities as we only wish.

Returning to 2020 and all chaos that was occupied the whole world most eCommerce sales went through the roof, people spent a lot more time on social media, and video conferencing became the norm. This has led to a major shift in the way brands connect with their consumers.

Here some trends:

  1. Artificial intelligence

AI isn’t just about the SKYNET apocalypse from James Cameron, it is also about our modern life. Machine learning is helping software engineers to simplify their work. They are trying to automize working processes by dividing them into small ones and using side services which in turn help others in the chain. Artificial intelligence helps to make routine work such as solving captcha easier.

AI technologies are most actively used in such countries as America, Japan, China, Germany. Well-known Harley-Davidson motorcycle company has used smart systems to reduce the time it takes to assemble a motorcycle from 21 days to 6 hours. Technology giant Samsung plans to completely switch one of the plants to production that uses artificial intelligence in 2023.

  1. All-in in SEO and Google listings.

All businesses starting from small online shop and finishing by a large corporation “fight” for his right to be shown in the top 10 google result.

  1. Personalization

Every company tries to avoid annoying ads of theirs product. Cookies and browser footprints can help marketing specialists to show more personalized advertisements relating to your requests.

Internet marketers are fighting to grab the attention of their target audience in the online content arena with help of such articles: As a result, consumers are faced with so much advertising "noise" that it becomes increasingly difficult for brands to break through and convey their message to potential customers.

It is no longer enough for online stores to simply pour budget into keyword promotion and display banner ads on related sites. Consumers now expect a personal touch and special offers from online businesses.

  1. A non-fungible token (NFT)

If you want to defend your digital information such as video, audio, or other unique data you may use a non-fungible token. It is a unit of data on a digital ledger called a blockchain.

NFT-tokens (non-fungible tokens) are a special category of completely unique cryptocurrencies. They cannot be exchanged for one another, such as a 20 dollar note for the same note. That is, each coin of NFT tokens is absolutely unique. Such cryptocurrency is also limited in its issuance, and is therefore often used to collect so-called "cryptocurrency items".

Non-interchangeable tokens can be either a tokenized version of real resources (such as a work of art) or a fully digital product. Because NFT tokens cannot be exchanged, they are often used to prove ownership and to authenticate an asset.

  1. Blockchain technology

This revolutionary technology turned the whole world upside down. Blockchain is a distributed database that contains information about all transactions carried out by system participants. Information is stored as a chain of blocks. Each of them contains a certain number of transactions.

According to the Bank of England, blockchain is "a technology that allows people who do not know each other to trust and share the recording of events." It is impossible to secretly falsify data within this system, therefore it is recognized as corruption-resistant.

The blockchain analogy is a necklace. Each bead is a "block" or record of an action. This necklace - or "chain" - cannot be destroyed or destroyed. Thus, blockchain is an indestructible digital record of actions. The reliability of this system made it possible to use it to improve the efficiency of monetary transactions and the exchange of information among individuals, corporations, and even the public sector.

  1. Smart speakers and voice search

Voice search plays an important role in providing all the relevant information that people are searching for through audio content. An increasing number of consumers are starting to search with the help of their little talkative robots. Perhaps that’s due to people have been stuck at home, with limited opportunities for conversation. Also these technologies are helping people with restricted abilities which in turn enlarge quantity of customers.

  1. Chatbots

These automated chatting robots can increase your customer satisfaction due to fast answers. They are working throughout messengers, websites, and apps.
