2016 NFPA 400 Revision Will Change Storage Requirements for Existing Ammonium Nitrate Facilities

The following article describes some of the decisions made by the NFPA 400 revision committee in making changes for 2016 with respect to Ammonium Nitrate storage requirements, in the wake of the deadly explosion two years ago in West, TX. At the end of the article, however, is the admission that there are still important additional questions to be debated concerning Ammonium Nitrate.
