Introduction to IIoT & the Connected Worker
The Internet of Things (IoT) is changing the world, and nowhere is this more evident than in industry, where it gets a special prefix, the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT). The global IIoT market will triple to $310 billion USD between 2018 and 2023, and a good chunk of growth will come from more “Connected Workers” using more devices and IoT endpoints for their daily tasks. New industry solutions will focus on environmental monitoring, proximity warning and real-time worker telemetry.
